The ESMF’s mission is:
- To develop the traditional Silat Melayu and spread it out in Europe;
- To keep the European Silat practitioners connected with the cultural
values and customary right (adab and adat) attached to this traditional
martial art;
- To develop and maintain a close cooperation with the embassies in the relevant European countries.
