2020 Online Competition – Rules and Regulations

European Silat Melayu Federation (ESMF) with cooperation from Persekutuan Silat Melayu Netherlands (PSMN) and moral support from Universiti Tunn Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) is delighted to invite your team to participate in our 1^st Open International Seni Silat Online Championship 2020.
The details are as below :

• Date: December 1^st, 2020 until December 9^th, 2020
• Competition Platform: Online video send by email

You will find below all the information about the championship for your reference and for your actions. Besides that, we encourage you to return all the needed information to us as soon as possible to assure your team spot in the championship. All needed information about the championship must be send before November 15^th, 2020.

Cooperation from your side is hoped will be as what as we planned and we
hope that everything will be smooth and in good condition. We look forward to your participation in
the championship.

CHAMPIONSHIPS RULES AND REGULATIONS

Categories

• Bersolo Tangan Kosong
• Bersolo Bersenjata
• Tempuran Tangan Kosong
• Tempuran Bersenjata
• Beregu Tangan Kosong
• Beregu Bersenjata

Contingent registration

Each participant must be the actual owner of the identity card and the original passport.
Registration fee for participants are as following: No Fee

Age categories

• Kanak- 7- 13 years
• Remaja- 14 – 18 years
• Dewasa- 19 – 30 years
• Senior- > 30 years

Registration

“Entry by Number” must be submitted by 05/11/2020 to the address stated via e-mail (info@esmf.eu).
“Entry by Name” must be submitted by 12/11/2020 to the address stated via e-mail (info@esmf.eu).

Entries confirmation

Confirmation for the competition will be sent via email.

Rules and regulations

The competitions rules & regulations are complied with accordance set by the European Silat Melayu Federation amendment 2019.

If there is any unsettled decision or problem arises which is not set in the ESMF rules & regulations competition, the Organizing Committee have the right to finalize the decision.

Technical Official will refresh about the rules & regulations sent via email

Silat uniform

During the competition:

• All athletes can wear black silat uniform.
• All athletes can wear silat traditional uniform from their style.
• All the athletes can wear accessories like Kain / Sarong, Tanjak/ Ikat Kepala, Bengkung / Selempang.

Competition rules for artistic categories

For Single category (Male & Female), Double category (Male & Female), Team category the performance duration is: 3 minutes1.

Weapons

11.1.Bersolo / Tempuran / Beregu:

• Golok / parang measuring between 30 – 40 cm.
• Toya / Tongkat (Rod) made of rottan with the length of between 110-180 cm long and diameter of 2 cm (-5, -3 cm).
• Belati / Tumbuk Lada / Rencong / Kujang.
• Tekpi.
• Sabit / Celurit / Kerambit.
• keris.

Prizes per category

• Juara 1 (Certificate and anouncement social media).
• Juara 2 (Certificate and anouncement social media).
• Juara 3 (Certificate and anouncement social media).

Video

Send your video via email : info@esmf.eu in topic name Atlete Perguruan and videonumber. The video number will provide by the organization.

Its not allowed to send edit videos. Videos that have been edited will not be judged by the hakim.

Gendang Music is allowed during the performance.
